One of the barriers to getting my users to actually use Filr is the fact that they access their files via the OES client and mapped drives. I have no desire at all to change that. However, the OES client doesn't know anything about the Filr client, and vice-versa, even though both can see exactly the same files.
If I'm looking at files on an OES server volume, and want to share one with a Filr user or get a Filr link to send to someone, I have to re-open the same volume via Filr\Net Folders and locate the same file, then right-click it to get Filr functions. So even if you want to and know how to do it, it's a pain, and getting users who don't understand it and only occasionally need it to do it is next to impossible.
It would be fantastic if the OES client had some Filr functionality built-in, so that you could do basic Filr functions (i.e primarily Share and Get File Link) without even installing the Filr Desktop Client. However, even if the Filr Desktop Client were still required, if the two clients could talk to each other it would help tremendously.
