It would be useful, if a network location is "filr-enabled" (direct shared or by network folder), the file on the network could be shared with right-click and "Share File with FILR-Link". If this is selected, a little pop-up come up and ask for expiration date and if the link should be "public" or if registration/login is needed for the access .

Thanks

  • But this already works for me or are you talking about a different thing?

Windows Explorer > Filr > Net Folders > <any folder> > Right click on file > "More Filr options..." > "Get file link..."?

You need share rights on that folder (set via the administration console).

  • My idea is a Windows Explorer integration, without FILR-Client installed, if possible. May be there is "lean" FILR-Client needed, without the possibility of synchronisation but with Single-Sign-On, if logged in OES/eDir or AD

  • Noted Markus. Currently this is not high in our priority.
