When configuring a Satellite server you can choose only one "Parent primary Server" The Problem is when this satellite is configured with the imaging role it has to communicate with its primary for every pxe request for work to do for the pxe client.
When this primary is not up or services are down, then this pxe request fails and also no imagng is working over the satellite. I opened a service request for more detail:

We need an option to configure more parent servers than one or the whole structure for imaging work has to be changed that no direct request to a primary is needed.

When the satellite is able to receive the needed information from another primary pxe will still work in other locations. Like now there is no faul tolerance in this construct. For Environments with more than one primary server (I guess this is more than 90 percent of all zcm installations) fault tolerance is needed for satellites to image.
