If HTTP proxy is configured for the agent, all communication between the agent and the server is logged with the IP of the proxy as source. This behaviour is correct. However when analyzing the logs for possible issues, it is impossible to identify the real source of a request.
For the case that X-Forwarded-For is set correctly (with proper IP) the webservices should evaluate this entry and log the IP as source of the request.
