Currently we do not have the ability to cancel system update once it has been assigned.
There are times when the device is outside the scheduled time and it needs to be removed from the device.
They have to ensure the update went before customers begin login at each local. If a few devices have not updated before the workday begins, they cannot cancel them individually, and therefor cancel the other successful deployments

Hi Kurt,
Do you think "Ignore Device" under the detailed view of "Deploying System Updates" can solve this problem?
You can click on the update pending device count & select the device & configure it to be in the ignored list. This can be reverted any time before the update is baselined.
Does it really 'cancel' the deployment? I thought 'ignore' was so that you could force the update to 'baseline'. Is this not correct?
I would like the ability to remove a device from a system update. Whether it can be ignored or not does not remove it from the list. I would like the total number pending to not include the ignored items.
Hi Kurt,
Yes, the "Ignore Device" option will exclude from deploying the update for the device. These ignored devices are thus not considered for marking the status of an update to Baseline.
Hi Jasen,
We will have to see how to distinguish & display the Ignore devices.
