I would like to see a new bundle action "open file".
The file should then be opend with the registred application.
For example I would like to open a PDF file whatever viewer is installed on the machine.
At the moment you have to use a workaround.
with "launch executable" and the file as parameter.
but this have the disadvantage that this application must be installed on every machine.
and you cant take consideration of the users default action.

you can do a "launch executable" explorer <file to open> this will open the file with the default handler
I agree with Jim. We currently use "launch executable" to open files directly. Maybe the action should be renamed from "Launch Executable" to "Launch Executable/File".
That's an interesting note. Thank you very much for that!
