Adding tags allow you to identify a specific device without requiring a device profile, dynamic group or compliance policy. Admin can search the devices based the tags also.

For example, If a device has a broken screen or a defective hardware,admin can tag these devices with the respective tags.

Admin can,
. Create his own tags
. Add tags to the devices(multiple tags for a device)
. Edit the tags
. Remove the tags added to the device
. Delete the tags
