Hi
So we find that when users sleep or hibernate their Windows device the ZENworks agents logs the user out. Please can we have it that the ZENworks agent logs the user back in on a resume, this is an issue with being able to find what users are logged into what devices and be able to provide support to them either via remote control or deploy bundles.
Thanks

  • This behavior is one of the reasons we have disabled sleep and hibernate on some of the networks we manage and this dates back prior to ZEN7. It would be nice to take advantage of power saving features so that money could be saved. If the Novell client is able to reconnect to mapped drives on a resume (via the Hibernate Reconnect settings of the Advanced Settings of the client), then why can't the ZENworks agent reauthenticate on a resume?

Maybe I've been overlooking some setting somewhere, but I have not been able to find any such setting in either the documentation or via Google.
