Support for iOS "Lost Device" features

iOS (and MacOS) has a number of features (Play a sound, show on a map, lock device etc.) that are designed to enable users to locate and remediate lost devices. Apple provide the capability for these to be managed by MDM products but they are not yet implemented in ZCM.
This makes ZCM look weaker than many of it's competitors.

  • iOS Lost mode would be available in ZENworks 2017 Update 3. This would allow a ZENworks admin to lock a device and also to locate the device on a map. Playing a sound is something which is currently planned for future release.
