It would be beneficial for the system update status page (https://<server>:7444/systemupdate/sustatus) to show detailed status information for the schema upgrade step. One of the things it does is attempt to shutdown the services on the other Primary servers. With the current status, you have no way of knowing what it is doing or how long it will take.
