In ZENworks there is a feature to disable a bundle, which certainly has it's uses.
In addition to adding confirmation to disabling a bundle (idea 13464), could it be more visible/obvious in the interface that a certain bundle is disabled, e.g. by making the word "disabled" bold and red?

Comments

  • Expectation is that anytime the bundle or policy is related, it should be presented in the gui relationships with proper enabled/disabled characteristics.

    This is three fold.
    1. Display flawed - As mentioned in ZCC folder list the bundle/policy shows enabled = "No", make it stand out by making the "No" Bold and Red. Or Greyed out.

    2. Device relationship misrepresented - When the bundle/policy is disabled looking at the device relationships it is not present in the ZCC gui (even though related to the device). The bundle or policy should be presented and greyed out. Misleading to the ZCC Administrator that it is NOT related.

    3. Groups misrepresented - If bundle is added to a bundle group, and the bundle group associated added to a device. If the bundle is disabled the bundle group still shows in the device relationship (w/o the +). Yet to see whats in the group you select it. Opening the bundle group and the bundle is displayed w/o indication that it is disabled.

Same for relations to users, groups, and folders.
