Currently, you cannot enable Kerberos Authentication on a server connected to the same domain as the user source. Many, if not most, companies utilize a single domain for internal resources (including servers and users). With the current configuration, the majority of customers are unable to utilize Kerberos Authentication.
We would love to leverage Kerberos for authenticating to ZENworks, but cannot because of this defect. This design, in my opinion, was not fully thought through.

I'd suggest opening another SR on the issue.
There is not nor has there ever been such a limitation.
