In ZDM 7 and below, an application could be associated to an OU which would show where it was set (launcher for example). You could then associate it to a specific user inside that OU and assign it to nothing - effectively making the application never show to that specific user.

ZCM 10/11 does not evaluate apps in this logic. You have to manually exclude the application from being shown to the user via application rules. This is problematic when you have large amounts of applications and users you want to be excluded. (We use bundles which are associated to an entire OU)

Better logic evaluation in the bundle assignments is required for ZCM 10/11 to have the functionality previously found in ZDM. If implemented, the user/device assignments area would also be required to have a move up/down list option so rules can be evaluated in order (top down priority).
