Many new devices targeted at the education market forego standard SATA storage with HDDs or SSDs and instead use eMMC. Without ZENworks imaging support for these storage devices, imaging and management is a challenge and raises questions about using competing products which do support eMMC storage natively.

• We have run into thes ame issue with Zenworks imaging being like a legacy product and not being enhanced to use the new technolgy. It appears that NOvell is abandoning this product, which is too bad. We have had to switch to Ghost because of this problem. We would have liked to keep using zenworks imaging but cannot because of lack of support.
