Description:
Obituary reports show which servers have notified obituaries. When a large number of servers (around 80) have backlinks, the obituary reporting can tell us which servers have been notified of obituaries (especially moves). In order to see which servers never were notified, one must collect all the notified obituaries and then compare them to a complete eDirectory server list. This can be an enormous task in a dynamic tree with lots of edge servers whose sites are vulnerable to network interruption during thunderstorms (this is my use case -- lots of remote schools). Servers that do not contain a replica but still have eDirectory installed (i.e. some OES servers for particular tasks and, yes, Netware) are particularly tricky to find as they do not show up in replication health checks, only in time checks and the time checks do not necessarily tell us whether eDirectory is working correctly.

Proposed Solution:
Create some sort of report within the various eDirectory reporting mechanisms that will compare the list of all eDirectory servers with the list of servers notified regarding particular obituaries and then list the servers for which no notified obituary exists.

Value Proposition:
And entire class of SR that I have to open (hunting with a support engineer for the two or three servers that didn't get notifications) during the stormy summer months would go away. Obituary reporting would be much more useful and obituary resolution could be more tightly targeted and quicker.
