We have users who do not reboot/log-off very often for various reasons. Since they do not reboot often but do lock their workstations, it would be helpful for the client to check for password expiration on unlock. Without a reboot or log off there's nothing that checks for expiration and the users password will have expired and/or will have used all of their Grace Logins.
