In German authorities, for years there have been more stringent requirements with regard to the use of encryption protocols.
SSLv3 for example has been forbidden for three years, and applications and systems that do not support TLS 1.2 have to be reported.
In an OES environment SFCB (which for example is used by iManager when performing hardware-related tasks) supports only SSLv3 and TLS 1.0 protocols. The goal must be on the one hand to implement TLS 1.2 support and on the other hand to offer the possibility to deactivate the support for all weak protocols.
This is critical for any further use of OES in German authorities.
