I have had repeated experience of server default certificates expiring and the server continuing to appear to work until suddenly something stops working. This can be many months later.

Regenerating the certificates fixes everything. Yesterday it was an online upgrade (OES2015SP1) which stopped NSS working after the server was restarted. A disaster for us and a SR for you guys to handle.

Can't we just get a message displayed either on the server screen or by email telling us that they have expired?
