Novell Ideas: Allow people to downvote an idea?

Whilst I realise it could impact any idea I have or will submit, how about allowing people to downvote an idea?

There are some ideas in this system that I disagree with yet I can't show that disagreement other than to comment on the idea.

-1 Simon. ;-) I like lobbying in the comments but letting the existing vote count stand. If people are persuaded by your argument, let them remove their own vote. I would rather see the ability to propose merging ideas as there are some that are duplicates or are at least partially dependent on other ideas...
