An Apple supported method for unifying file system access for Apple clients to server shares over SMB and CIFS (especially when Apple's support of standard protocol and proprietary protocols across different Apple platforms make it more difficult) is to deploy an Apple server to act as a file system gateway for Apple clients to resolve the Apple client incompatibilities.

Could Filr be enabled to access such Apple servers to offer available shares to Apple clients in the Filr environment,or provide that service if a gateway apple server doesn't exist?
