Micro Focus Filr: Pass through authentication to an AD domain

Although the Filr Desktop Client allows users to select the option to remember their password, upon expiry (90 days for us) users have to input their password again. Would it be possible to implement pass through authentication to our AD domain thus eliminating users having to input their password.

This would also prevent the app from locking the users AD account if it continually attempts to authenticate with an old password.
