As an end user when I share content with others I want to be able to see not only those I have shared with, but all of the users that have access via other re-shares so that I can tell who has access to a given file or folder in the system.
1) User 1 shares a file with User 2
2) User 2 re-shares a file with User 3
3) As User 1 when I look to see who has access to my share I should see User 2 and 3
4) The share dialog also shows me how the user got access to the share

It is also important that if a user leaves the company, there is a way to identify any orphaned shares and change the owner of the share so that the files are attached to the new owner's personal storage OR begins using the new owner's file system rights.
Good idea - Noted!
It would be also important for everybody placing files in a folder under "Shared with me" to get a list of useres who have access to this share. A user needs to be able to identify who he is sharing files with to make sure that he does not share confidential files with users who are not allowed to have access!
we need to put prio on this feature
in the latest version (3.4) Users have an option on the file for 'View who has access'. This shows users who have rights to the file from the file system and from shares. If User A shares with B who Shares with C who Shares with D, they all appear in that list. I am sure that the cain can go on further, if need be, I just gave up after the 3rd share.
Moving this to completed based on the above.
