Filr Desktop starts again and again to upload large files even if the filesize is above upload limit. Error message is generated when upload size is reached.

Filr Desktop should FIRST check if filesize is above upload limit and not start uploading at all.

  • Agreed that this needs to fixed.

    Note that we could currently workaround this when uploading using Desktop Client by setting "Maximum file size" appropriately (In Filr Admin Console > "Desktop Application" > "Maximum file size" )

  • This has been implemented in our upcoming Axion release (2.0)

  • Filr 2 which was released yesterday (9th Feb) includes this feature.
