It seems that at the moment the filr client does not handle hidden files and directories on Windows clients nor files / directories starting with a dot on Mac clients.
For customers that are using the filr client for backup and restore - all files and directories count - also the hidden ones and the ones that start with a dot.
Due to that Filr should add support for these types of files.

This should be a configurable option. While for the use case of backup this will be nice it might be space consuming and annoying for other users. Especially as the web client does show all these dot files created on OS X.
