Micro Focus Filr: Allow Filr users to be preserved when migrated from eDirectory to AD or vice versa in the back-end

With the OES2015 capability to allow AD users to have access to the NSS volumes natively, we offer the capability of migrating from eDirectory to AD, or the other way around.

In this case they are currently forced to abandon their eDirectory provisioned Filr users to get a AD provisioned Filr user or vice versa.
In this case they would loose all the shares that were already made and -if applicable- their ad-hoc personal data.

IOHO it should be possible -if not with some additional information updates in the eDirectory- to preserve the Filr user and switch tree in the back-end.

It would be great to have this functionality as otherwise this movement will cause major headaches for filr customers!
