Currently the Filr desktop client for Windows will not work in a network configured for automatic proxy configuration with a proxy.pac script. Unlike all web browsers and many clients for file access it will only read the global system proxy configuration and ignore the configuration as delivered by the proxy server.

In order to make the Filr client work in more complex environments it will help to either include a manual proxy configuration setting in the Filr console page or to built in support for such proxy.pac scripts and thus enable the client for automatic proxy configuration.
