When an external user first registers to the Filr system, they receive a confirmation email that they must click on to prove that it was actually them that filled in the registration form. If they cannot find that email for any reason, the only remedy we have today is to have the Filr administrator delete the external user from the database.

Instead, if the external user returns to the registration link, they should be prompted to either complete the form again, or resend the confirmation email.

This would allow the Filr end-users to more quickly resolve issues with the people that they are sharing files. It would eliminate the need for administrators to become involved.

  • Yes, we need that, confirmation emails sometimes could get lost in spam filters if "From e-mail address override" is not set to a working Email Adress in Filr VA Outbound Email configuration
