not all information on the file server within a subfolder tree needs to be visible in Filr. Yet the tree structure needs to be preserved.

\\fileserver\netfolder1\
\Subfolder1
\Subfolder2
\Subfolder3

If I create a Netfolder \\fileserver\netfolder1\ then all three subfolders will be synced to the group given access.
We need to allow Subfolders 1 and 2 to be synced and Subfolder 3 to be excluded from the netfolder creation/synchronization process.

  • Noted Vihren!

  • We are having the same problem in our environment with specific folders where millions of files are stored. Allowing to select which folders to include/exclude during the Netfolder creation will be a great help for us, particularly in the synchronization process after the initial creation process.

  • Good morning:
In our company it would be very useful to delimit the folders that are shown to the users because for large volumes of users it is very tedious to have to create a netfolder for each folder that we want to show to the users. It would be a great help for us to be able to exclude folders from directories.

    Thank you

  • Hello!
I think it is a waste of time having to sync the whole content of a volume when we only use a few folders in it. This is a time-consuming as well as an error-prone process.
