The Android Filr app apparently hooks into some built in functionality in Android to render PDFs in app without opening in 3rd party app or waiting for appliane to convert to html. The iOS app needs to have some viewers such as PDF built in as well to assist in feature parity.
This is especially imporant when opening in 3rd party apps isn't allowed to control company files from being exported to libraries on the iOS device outside of Filr app, and the PDF is more complicated such as a multi page CAD drawing.
This is also an issue when PDF has been downloaded to Filr app cache already but network connection is unavailable.

This is a very much needed feature!
We are looking into this.
We have fixed this - will share in the next version of Filr iOS beta app
Thank you for your quick reaction.
How can you get the Filr iOS beta app?
Hi Fabian, will send you an email on this.
I would also like to try the beta app as this is a critical piece for many of my users.
(they are also very interested in pdf editing within filr or even just a way to annotate on a doc then save it)I will look through the rest of the list to see if this is posted somewhere.
This is now available in beta version of Filr 3.3.2 iOS app.
We plan to release this in couple of weeks.
Let know if any of you are interested in beta testing the iOS app (or Android app)
Filr 3.3.2 iOS app with this capability is now available!
