I am double posting this idea in Filr and GroupWise because I'm not quite sure where it should go.
I would like to suggest another level of integration between Filr and GroupWise where GroupWise would implement an attachment size restriction feature and if a user tries to attach file(s) that exceed that size restriction it would prompt the user with a notification about the size being exceeded and automatically upload the file to Filr and automatically share it with the other email recipients.
This is similar to how Gmail or Outlook work if you try to send an attachment larger than they support.
For an upload location Gmail and Outlook use Drive and Onedrive for the account's personal storage space. I would like to see Filr have an option to be set by the administrator that we can either designate the user's My Files location, or have a server-side directory that will hold the uploaded attachments for a pre-set amount of time determined by the administrator after which the shared attachment will automatically be unshared and deleted.

Noted Mark - this would need to be implemented at GroupWise side and thus having it at GroupWise ideas portal makes sense.
You have this capability in GroupWise. In GW administration select the domain, po or user and 'Client Options', Select the integrations Tab Where you can enable the integration and specify that all files, or files over a specified size, are uploaded to Filr.
With Filr advanced you have similar functionality with Outlook. Though those settings are in the Filr Administration Console.
Moving this to completed. Mail me in case you have further questions.
