Please make Filr Desktop so that it uploads the log files from the client to the server.
Preferably directly after each sync or at least configurable in the administrator interface.
Make it possible how far back the logs should be kept so that you don't fill the server/SQL with logs.
Then if the computer gets stolen or if the hard disk crashes you can still see what files was uploaded and on what date. As well as the latest date when the files was synced and which one etc...
Also you can also see what files on what Filr Desktops did not get synced because of illegal characters or to long search path on the client side.
You don't have to (at first) touch the Filr Desktop to be able to make an first trouble shoot of potential issues on the Filr Desktop side.
Maybe you can create a special admin that only has the rights to read this kind of logs and not access or change other things in the Administrative Console.
In short, make it easier to trouble shoot with out having direct access to the machine.
