Whe have several users working with the Filr desktop client and they all have access to several netfolders. Of course they are making files and folders available offline so they can work at it when they don't have an internet connection.
But what they sometimes don't understand is that they cannot make an offline sync of the whole 500Gb netfolder. Users should get a clear warning message on how much data (in Mb or Gb) they will download and the amount of time it will take to make it offline.
Also, if a user deletes a file or a folder on the desktop client, he should get a warning, that the files will be deleted not only on his laptop, but also on the server (similar to how Varonis DataAnywhere does it). Within this warning message, he should get the option Yes, No, and maybe an additional option to delete only the offline copy of these files, if they are offline (in case he needs some space on his harddisk). If he wants to delete the offline copy, then there must be an additional warning in case a file hasn't been uploaded to the server yet.
I think, this would make Filr Desktop Client a lot more easy to understand and it would give the admin a bit less work on restoring files on the server over and over again :)
