When we use blacklist to block processes from accessing/downloading files in the Filr desktop client users get an alert when process is blocked. This only means Filr did as intended. This alert only confuses our users and is not of any use to them. They only think something is wrong.
There should be a way to enable and disable these alerts.

Yes I agree with this. I'd also like to be able to block the new client available alert as we push these out through ZENworks
Totally agree with you both André and Matt
Totally agree aswell.
For an administrator this messages are quite understandable, but for a normal user, this says nothing. They does not have a clue what for example colw32.exe is, and should not need to either.
All this messages will genereade a helpdesk call from the users.
There must be a way to disable these warnings. Maybe for all warnings, but better for "known" applications in the organization.
We know that we have ZCM Inventory for example, there is no need to display that for the user, but for unknown, or odd applications, it may be good if it is displayed.
Isn't this the
"Desktop notifications
Allow balloon notifications for desktop client users"
setting in the Admin Console > System > Desktop Application?
