Since the appliance is diverging from the main SUSE builds in some ways, I would like to see one major break from SUSE orthodoxy: Include the nano text editor in the appliance. Most other Linux distributions as well as Apple's OS X / macos include nano by default and it is far easier to use than vi. Including it would only add a few Kb but would improve supportability.
