Please allow and create the support of multiple Filr server with just a single Filr desktop client or the support of multiple Filr desktop client instances (similar to /multi of the Novell Messenger).
That makes testing processes a lot easier and less circumstantial.
Migrating from one server to another where the user decide which files should be migrated.
We have like two productive Filr installations and a few more test installations. While testing we still want to be able to synchronize the the productive files.
Feel free to discuss if this is useful or not and which uses cases could support these statements.
Thank you.

I would like to add to scenarios
* I've multiple customers/partners that share files with me or have system in which I have an account.
* I not only use Filr but also Vibe. Those two desktop clients probably share a lot of code and could fit in one Desktop client.
Also for those using both Vibe and Filr on their desktop/laptop do need to install who clients to get to their files. Filr and Vibe share code base server side, guess this is also true for the Desktop Client (if not there's even more reason for a merge). Now the upcoming Filr 2.0 will have the Files On Demand functionality (https://www.novell.com/communities/coolsolutions/files-matter-introducing-filr-2-0-with-files-on-demand/) so that would benefit Vibe also since the implementation of the function is client side. Then also just one client needs to be maintained going forward. File access experience would me much clearer for users.
For this to functional also adding multiple accounts to the client would be needed. This would allow us to add multiple Filr/Vibe accounts to the client as we may have multiple systems we have access to. That could be both internal or customer/external system that have shared files with us.
I would suggest we create a named Favorite and Library, default reflecting the system name. That could be 'Filr files.mycompany.com' or 'Vibe teaming.mycompany.com' but is ajustable by the user when it is added to the client.
Also vote on the Vibe idea @ https://www1.v1ideas.com/MFI/novell-vibe/Idea/Detail/1183
Multiple accounts for desktop sync is totally necessary
yes, totally agree this is a required.
To migrate away from iFolder to Filr this is a must have! In iFolder I already can connect to multiple different servers for different shared projects. Once two customers or partners share some project folder with you - using the desktop client for both projects is not possible at the moments. So please add multi-Filr connection and sync to desktop AND mobile app! Even in the mobile app is is a nightmare to switch between filrs..
Good idea - Noted!
What is the Status here?
We have now customers who asking us about such a Feature.
+1
Another Scenario: One was visiting the Open Horizon Summit and wants to download all the presentations, even the newly added. But the Filr Client is already taken by the company account ;)
Any news on this really important topic?
