I have a request to be able, for specific groups of users to send SMS-text messages to single users, groups, teams and specific phone numbers (i.e. external users)

It could be a special folder, which as the same time can act as a message archive for, if possible, SMS, Novell Messenger broadcasts and e-mails. A workflow will take care of whether to send the message via one or more of the channels.

If possible, this folder-type should by default, only allow a specific group or role to start the workflow part, which send out SMS, due the cost of these.

I’m aware, that sending SMS requires hardware and/or subscription and Novell Messenger broadcast might require access manager and LDAP.
