Micro Focus Vibe: GroupWise as Vibe E-Mail Engine

Currently it is possible to synchronize GroupWise calendars with Vibe, and the Windows (and only Windows) client can view Vibe content as a set of folders. I propose a stronger integration.

Right now Vibe uses standard SMTP for its e-mail communication. For non-GroupWise shops I propose keeping this option, but also adding an option to use GroupWise as the Vibe e-mail engine via the GroupWise SOAP API.

The advantages of this are that GroupWise would provide much richer options for send tracking, address lookup, and other collaboration features.

I know that a Vibe Task appears in Groupwise, but haven't figured out how to get Vibe calendar entries into GW and visa versa. If you can synchronize them, please share with the class. Thanks.
