Within workflows you can email a person as a notification but it would be great to also be able to assign a task (and populate the task with text etc.) and then be able to have the workflow transition when the task has been marked as completed.

Currently all you can do is email and then repeat the emails and to confirm an action us a workflow question, but allowing a task assignment would mean that when the user is in their workspace (or if you place the "My Tasks" element on a landing page) they would be able to see their things to do as well as getting the email. It also means that the user doesn't need to go to the base entry which in some of my cases don't contain information the entry is purely their to send out reminders for things.
