There is a "My Events" enhanced view, and you can do a show folder with entries for a calendar, but I would like to be able to have an element that will enable me to set a time frame and it will show the events nearest to furthest.

For example, be able to show a list of events in next 7 days with Date / Time and Title sorted in soonest to furthest so on a landing page you can have an "Up coming events" box.
