Workflows can be applied to comments and there is the options to set ACL's based on workflow state but currently only modify permissions are applied.

Please can "Read Access" be made usable so that you can limit who can see the entry.

My use case is that in a workflow I am building for a customer we are tracking the document from initial creation, editing and then approval, publication and archiving. This means there is a lot of "discussion" around the creation we dont need / want visible once in approval or published phases but currently have no way to hide the comments of systematically remove them.
