Actually you cant send messages to offline users.
It would be great if the message would be transferd when the user come online.

would be a necessary feature. That´s the meaning of "instant"...
This is necessary feature. For example: If email server has problem, than this would be nice way to inform and message online/offline users (Offline users after login and Messenger startup would receive broadcast message) - Email server is not available. IT department is looking into issue. We will inform when everything is back online! (something like that...).
Still i`m wondering, why this idea is not realized in some kind patch. I think that Messenger 18 does not have this feature too...
that's a major issue for some customers....
This is an important feture, that is instrumental in the acceptance of GroupWise Messenger!
