GroupWise enhancement to add a browse button for a Hyperlinked document.
Currently how it’s done:
Click on the hyperlink button in the toolbar
Click file: in the type dropdown file
Type your path to the file
The Problem: When you have a path to a file like this: G:\SHARED\TRAINING.RO\Office XP\PowerPoint 2002\Level II\Project_03\ep2-0301.ppt
Typos could easily occur and break the link.
What I would like to see:
When clicking on the hyperlink button I would like to browse to the file that I want to link to.
As an example, this is how it is done in Outlook:
When adding a hyperlink this is the screen that comes up:
When linking a document on the network or pc, all that has to be done is to click the Look in: drop down and browse to the where the document is located.
After clicking the OK button, it then places the link inside of the message.
Why I would like to see this changed:
1. Prevents “typos” in the link.
2. Makes it easier to add the link
3. Creating the link to the document rather than attaching the document frees up room on the GroupWise server. It is already saved on the file server, why duplicate the document?
Thank you for considering this change!

Create a link to a document, located on a filesystem should be much easier.
