- It's oldfashioned that the Notify-Window pops up and gets the cursor. It often happens that, when typing text in Word and Notify pops up and you press for example "d" in that moment, the mail gets deleted without recognizing it. Especially if you work on one display and Notify opens on the second.
- allow "Read" for proxied-user-mails from within Notify (Notify shows me new mail in the proxied mailbox, but I can't open the mail, the button is greyed-out)
- allow to select the folders to check for notifications for the own mailbox AND for the proxied-user as well

How about you write Notify into the Grpwise.exe - it's always out of date with prompts and I don't know anyone in my organisation (680 staff) who does not run the full blown client all day, in fact most staff turn off Notify as its inconsistent - we have trained them on it also!
The Notifier is indeed oldfashioned. If pressing read on an Email which is moved to another folder via rule, nothing happens. Also in Caching Mode the read funtion is a mess.
I would also like the ability to save and the customization settings I have set in Notify. Either client-based, where they are saved to and loaded from a file; or administration based, where an administrator could export and import them via the REST interface. Essentially, if I have to run a GW Check of "Reset Client Options", then the Notify settings go away, and it's a pain to reconstruct them. (First thing I do, is turn off "Show Dialog" on everything except my appointment Alarms.)
Here is another reason to change Notify. Today I was typing an email and I happened to hit the letter D just as Notify popped up. I deleted a calendar invite that had just arrived. Not the first time this has happened either. ZCM 11 has a nice system tray popup that appears when the agent is upgrading/installing. Maybe something like that would work for GroupWise Notify.
Notify in 2014 R2 is a definite improvement!
Yes, but the UI somehow overlaps now the buttons and text...
We made significant changes to notify in GroupWise 2014 R2. Notifications now appear at the bottom right and don't take over the focus. If you have further enhancements for notify please create new IDEAS. Please keep each IDEA for 1 enhancement. Thanks.
