Currently when in Caching Mode you have no idea that your Online Mailbox is full. The GroupWise Client does not notify about this.

I thought the Client options > Send > Disk Space Mgmt > "[ ] Limits apply to cache" option takes care of this.
Not sure if it is working if it is enabled in our internal GroupWise System internally because my mailbox size restriction is 1500 MB and I am currently over the limit by 300 MB. Apologies - I have not been a GroupWise Admin or Consultant for years so forgot that it could be forced. I will log a Service Request. You can delete this idea!
If you have (for whatever reason) not applied limits to caching mode, you could be left with a user whose only copy of something really important is in the caching mailbox. For many users, this is a precarious situation, and to be avoided. And most users won't understand the situation, I suspect. I think it would be a good idea if the system periodically reminded the user that the online mailbox was over capacity, even if all that resulted in was a call to the help desk to get it clarified.
Current Groupwise caching mode needs an overhaul.
Frankly its an embarrassment - way too slow over the internet
and gets the oldest messages first.... You can wait hours before its usable.
