Create a "template" solution for a system wide signature using variables. For example, Administrators could set a template that looked like this:
<first_name> <last_name>
<title>
<cell_phone> | <company_phone_number> | <web_site>
<company_logo>
Information such as names, titles, and cell phones could be pulled from the GroupWise account. Common information such as company phone number, web site, and company logo could be pulled from a common area. Font settings would need to be defined by the administrator.

Vertigo is an good idea, but why by an second product? All the informations are already in the system.
Yeah, needing a second product is the wrong route here. Or atleast a API that makes it easy to add signatures that are not plaintext only would be nice.
We finally decided to implement email signature standards company wide. A template like this would be great! Save us a lot of hassle. Having html formatting settings specified by the administrator is very important. I'm not sure if the creator of this request was wanting this to be applied to Global Signatures or not, but we tried using global signatures first and ran into problems with it. Just not enough flexibility. I think it would be great if we could apply templates to the users own signatures. When they go to create a signature, they would select one from the administrator defined templates. Let admins specify whether users can create custom signatures or only choose the predefined templates or both.
The templating could also be useful for the vacation rule. When you setup the response text to external mails there should be tags like <vac_start> and <vac_end> with localization or formaters like <vac_start|"dd.mm.yyy">

Temples, variables and manualy editing the html code in global and personal signatures
Create the global signature based on a template with LDAP references should not be the problem by now - GroupWise 2014 is connected to a LDAP server in in the majority of installations (eDir/AD/..) so all information should be there.
To deploy a Company Identity, a global Signature with template and variables (from LDAP/AD or GW) is a must and a outstanding Feature of Groupwise. I hope this will be in the next ServicePack/Release! Please think at the vakationrule too.

We are currently looking at having this available in GroupWise 2017
We also think that this is a must and we looked forward to getting it with GW2014R2 SP1, too bad that we have to keep on waiting.
The feature should have an admin-option to make a template mandatory for a user.
Add the ability to enter HTML functions as an image <IMG> tag from an external website ...
Please add support for this in the SOAP interface so it can be used outside the admin-console in third party tools

GW 2017 should be available in second half of the year, but looks like the name will change to 2018 :).

GroupWise Mailbox Management, (Formerly Vertigo) is included in Micro Focus Enterprise Messaging which is scheduled to be released the week of Dec 11th. https://www.microfocus.com/products/enterprise-messaging/
This is currently planned on the roadmap the 18.1 release of GroupWise. 18.1 is currently schedule for release late secon half of 2018. Please remember that roadmap items are subject to change as we get closer to release. This will still be a licenses feature of Mailbox Mgmt. We plan to integrate that into GroupWise but you would have to have a Mailbox Management license or have Enterprise Messaging for the feature to be available.
