2 Factor Authentication in WebAccess

Description:
As a GroupWise administrator I want to enable and require 2 factor authentication when logging into WebAccess so that users must setup and use 2 factor authentication instead of just a password

  • It would be better that Groupwise had it's own internal additional security as password breaks are common due to human engineering. Using Google for anything defeats the security trust built into Groupwise with clients, they might as well use a Google-centric email and webmail system if using Google products.
    Micro-Focus please take notice that the following of Groupwise cannot get stronger unless we meet the product continuity issues head-on, instead of referring them out to someone else. It's like I want to make myself a sandwich, so I'm going to go to MCDonalds' to have them do it for me... Not a wise choice, if you follow the meaning.
    Groupwise has weaknesses, security not being one of them, but, we need to address the future of the product. That's what this forum is about, Novell wasn't listening to the public, and you see where they are now. Let's get on with issuing more betas and info request that CAN work. The most common weakness still is Human Engineering.

  • 2 factor authentication is good. Third-party products requirement is not.
    SMS is often acceptable, unless your phone company is vulnerable. Ref:
