Micro Focus GroupWise: Unread mail count for parent folder if not expanded

Currently if you have unread mail in a subfolder, the parent folder only shows the unread mail icon but no message count if it's not expanded. If you expand the parent folder, then the unread message count shows for the subfolder. I would like the unread message count to show for the parent folder when not expanded

I'd like to see the total number of messages, read or unread as a second number,
e.g. 4 / 127 if 4 out of 127 messages are unread.
