Would like to be able to drag a file from the desktop and drop into a compose message in the WebAccess client and attach it like in the windows client.

This is currently being looked at for GroupWise 2017
This is not in the GroupWise 18 release, will look to a future release
This is planned for the new GroupWise Web Client that will be released with GroupWise 18.2. It is currently in tech preview https://hub.docker.com/r/mfgroupwise/webacc-ng
