Extending the current Voting features available through the client to mobile devices
that are synced through the GMS server.
Often times you are doing electronic voting because a group of decision makers
are not all in the same place. But they will all have access to email through
the GMS sync server.
When I receive an email with a voting option now on my phone, it had an asterisk with
voting options (yes,no) but no way to issue a vote from my device.

This is unfortunately a limitation of Microsoft activesync as the protocol doesn't understand voting. Until MS adds it as part of a protocol feature, then devices and mobile mail apps add appropriate support, this is quite unlikely.
Not saying it's a bad idea, I want it too, but out of Novell/MF hands until both activesync server protocol and clients updated with support.
