With some accounts, multiple signature options are required. For example one person may proxy into several accounts, and each of them will have different signature requirements, such as formal for first response, informal for follow-up mail. With GW2012, when sending, the default signature was offered, and it was possible to easily decide if the default, or a different, signature was to be used for this particular mail.

With GW2014, it is necessary to remember to click on the add signature line before sending, and then if the default is not the desired signature, it is necessary to locate and click on a small indicator to display the list of possible signatures. This requires an extra action compare to GW2012

This problem will not affect everyone, so the proposal is to add "prompt always" as an option for signatures, so that the wrong signature is not used by accident.
